Relatives during the Holidays

We've all been there.  It's the holiday season, and most people are out shopping til they drop, buying up who knows what for who cares how much.  We have families to entertain, too.  And if you are lucky, you have a LOT of folks in your family.

For me, I've been blessed with an awesome set of in-laws.  They are thoughtful, insightful, and actually get along with my parents.  It's just wonderful.  

If you have wonderful relatives that are visiting during the holiday season, be mindful to their needs.  Also be mindful for how you are connected to them.  Counting your blessings can be difficult sometimes.  Its tricky business.  This is the reason I stopped praying for patience, and instead pray for guidance. 

So, look for the blessings of being with family during this time of year.  And if you don't have any family, drop me a line, you can visit with mine....
